Winter Retreat is a weekend full of worship, games, outdoor activities, small groups and plenty of time to have fun together at Blue Lake!
Winter Retreat is an adult volunteer led program with Blue Lake counselors supporting each church group throughout the weekend. Adult volunteers will lead their church group through the weekend while Blue Lake counselors are there to help with activities and programming.
It’s a packed weekend designed to give elementary students a chance to grow in their faith, make new friends, and experience all that Blue Lake has to offer in the winter!

ADULTS: FREE
(Groups will get 2 free chaperone spots for first five students then an additional free chaperone spot for each additional 5 students)
This Retreat has a two-fold intent:
First, to supplement local church Confirmation Classes with information regarding the vows of membership: Prayers, Presence, Gifts, Service, and Witness through breakout groups about each topic. Second, to instill a sense of Connectionalism as students hear from our Bishop and other Clergy and Laity, while learning alongside students from other local churches.
Students will make a confirmation stole; learn about missions, evangelism, and prayer; and fellowship in worship and games.
IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
All volunteers must complete and turn in our Safe Sanctuaries Covenant handout along with their registration.
Please take time to read the training document below. Then sign the Covenant form that is already attached to your paper registration.
YOUR REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE COMPLETE WITHOUT THIS TRAINING
